QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:

1.  Q: How long will it take to have units for license owners to start conversions? 

A: It depends on the 1,200 dealers being all assigned which is number that is required which enables initial manufacturing commitment to begin. We planned  on six months after dealers were all assigned, but we are behind schedule due to a mapping database error which has put us several months behind on initial mapping.

2.  Q: What is involved with installation, can anyone convert my vehicle even without mechanical aptitude?

A: Any competent mechanic can install units with instruction manual. We don't recommend a non trained person attempting to install the NanoDetonator.

3.  Q: How do you define license territories?
 
A: Each territory or region is based on roughly 100,000 population using counties as boundaries where ever possible, and zip codes in highly populated areas.  Each area may have more than 100,000 vehicles given many are multiple vehicle owners.  This will obviously depend on how many vehicles per household which varies by region.  It is impossible to know exactly given all the variables, so we ask you to use http://ZIP-CODES.com  and/or http://quickfacts.census.gov to research your county and city areas to choose your region, and if it is already reserved, make certain you put alternative choices in the inforrmation box on front page above banner or on confirmation and review page before you make payment.  Also put state if other than your home state, shipping instructions if you are making purchase for other than yourself.  The more information the better and you have up to 200 characters, so write a book, the more information,  the better we can assist you.  Do your research before submitting reservation as we now require counties, cities, zips and as many alternative choices as possible to avoid delays.

4.  Q: Will the NanoDetonator fit any vehicle?

A: Yes, all internal combustion engines (ICE) powered by gas or diesel can be easily converted, but the first units will be for FI (fuel injected) and ECU, ECM (Electronic Control Unit, Module) equipped vehicles only.  Units for vehicles without FI will be available at a later date.  

5.  Q: What happens if units fail?

A: As all the conversions are based on a lease/rental agreement, company retains ownership and units will be replaced if needed by company. With no moving parts, it is extremely unlikely a total failure would occur very similar to the rare spark plug failure, a miss may be only issue. ECU (electronic Control Unit) may fail, but this also is remote possibility for total failure. We all know vehicles can break down, so nothing different here, it is possible. If you have a problem, there will be dealers with inventory in all parts of the country to handle replacements if needed.

6.  Q: What happens if I want a new vehicle?

A: You have two options. One, have units removed and installed in your next vehicle. Two, use the factor of benefits of NanoDetonator to help sell your vehicle at above market value. After all, who wouldn't want a vehicle that burns no gas or diesel? Simply have new owner assume lease/rental of NanoDetonators at same rate of $50.00 per month.

7.  Q: If I want to get out of lease/rental agreement, is this possible?

A: Yes, there is no problem with early terminations for we don't expect to experience this problem with the benefits of no gas or diesel required.  Units will have to be removed at owners cost to terminate agreement with our dealers doing the de-installation.

8.  Q: As a license owner, what are my expenses to start converting vehicles in my zip code or codes region?

A: You will either convert customer vehicles yourself, hire others to do it, sub contract work or company will assist until you reach a break even operations point as quickly as possible.  In time we will offer installation options through major chains and franchises, and eventually the auto dealers. 

9.  Q: How much can I earn as license owner?

A: This depends on how you set up your business. Simply put, you have the upfront $500.00 conversion fee, plus the 50% split profits from the lease/rental payment of $50.00, currently an estimate. You receive half, or in this example, $25.00 on each vehicle you convert potentially forever in your zip code region. A little simple math will enable you to see potential.

10. Q: Can I sell or transfer my license?

A: Yes, you can choose several options. One is to actively operate your license, two is to hire others to operate business. Three, sell license for whatever market value it is at that time. Four, company will operate license for you at a cost. Written requests are required before approvals to insure no major corporate interference is involved.

11. Q: Is there any liability to license owners?

A: Yes, as with all businesses, you must carry liability insurance just as all companies should do and are required to do if you are doing conversions. 

12. Q: Are these NanoDetonators safe?

A: Yes, far more safe than any gasoline fueled vehicle as there are no storage or fuel tank rupture issues.  Gas leaks are more dangerous than hydrogen leaks. Please watch safety videos to see this demonstrated. There is no danger since controlled hydrogen fusion can only occur in the engine cylinder. No leaks are possible, therefor, no fire hazard.

13. Q: Will I be able to see more power from my vehicle?

A: Yes, hydrogen fusion converted engines will increase your vehicles performance and power significantly.

14. Q: How long will the NanoDetonator last?

A: We feel confident they will last longer than any vehicles normal life, and since they are leased, replacement units are at no cost and on a as needed basis. 

15. Q: I know that hydrogen has zero emissions, is this also true with NanoDetonators?

A: Yes, all hydrogen fuels have zero emissions, and controlled hydrogen fusion is the same which is just one of the major benefits over all other current carbon based fuels on the market.

16. Q: Can a license owner sell outside his zip code region, as example, to friends and family?

A: Technically, no, sorry, we need to be fair to all, so you will refer your contacts to appropriate license owners in their region, just as others will refer many clients to you. It will all balance out in the long term so it is fair to everyone. If you want to negotiate a split fee with other license owners, this is up to you and other license owners to work it out.  We cannot be involved in how each license owner wants to run their business beyond our license agreement terms and conditions. If someone wants to drive to your conversion facility, that is fine, we cannot stop free choice.  If dealers want to work out separate agreements among themselves, that is up to them, as long as there are no additional fees added to agreements.

17. Q: Why hasn't this technology been released since it has been around for decades?
 
A: As with all fuel enhancement technologies, market resistance and start up costs are always an issue. The same is true with all hydrogen systems. Hydrogen Fusion is traditionally an extremely expensive process, and even in large scale power plants, it was too expensive up until recently. With the ever increasing oil prices, now hitting $120.00 per barrel, the cost effective aspect is now more reasonable than ever before. This important issue is why there are plans to produce large scale fusion power plants. In the case of NanoDetonators, high cost issues have been resolved with our technology as well.

18. Q: What does the NanoDetonator look like?

A: They are similar to a spark plugs in size, but hollowed out with multi channel core, not a solid electrode like traditional spark plugs. Electrodes erode on traditional plugs, but no erosion is possible with our NanoDetonators, and with no carbon build up, they should technically last for the life of the vehicle.

19. Q: How long will my engine last, and are there any voids of factory warranties?
 
A: We do not yet know how long your engine will last using NanoDetonators, but we do know carbon build up and oil blow by down cylinder walls contributes to the wear and tear on normal gas or diesel engines, so without any carbon or fuel blow by, technically, your engine should last ten times longer than traditional fuel engines. Another factor is heat. We all know current engines run at higher temperatures, and this puts a stress and strain on all moving parts. With NanoDetonators, your engine runs much cooler, so this to will logically extend life of all engines. With this, no manufacturers issues should arise.  We also will be using a special engine treatment for extra protection of engines. 

20. Q: How do I reserve other than my specific county or region?

21. Q: When do we get paid?

A: Given the fact that we offer a longer than normal refund period, which is 30 days from receipt, this can be up to 45 days in some cases, so commission being calculated last day of each month, you may not see a commission until end of following month, so please keep this in mind, commissions are not immediately paid upon sale. This will also not show up under your affiliate stats immediately as well, just the affiliates will show up initially and check payments are held for a week and will not show up until checks clear in your back office.  Note, with so many people requesting reserved areas, refunds are being made, so delays while these people choose other areas will also reflect as not paid in your back office. 

22. Q: How do we get paid?

A: If you registered with a Paypal email address, this will be method of payment. If not, checks will be mailed out by first of the month if your affiliate information was completed with full name, address and tax information if commissions are over $600.00.  Any missing information will create more delays, so check your back office now, not later. Make sure your information is complete, especially contact name and payment name if different. Double affiliate registrations will lock up your account.

23. Q: Where is company located?

A: License reservations will disclose address of company, but no visitors are permitted at this point in time. All license owners will be advised when visits are to start, so please be patient.

24. Q: Where is company registered?

A: Hydrogen Fusion Engine Company, Inc. is a California corporation. You can check this out on Secretary of State web site if you choose All corporations in good standing must be registered.

25. Q: I have a question why company contact number is not listed on Q & A to date, what is the companies phone number?

A: We no longer accept general questions by phone as we were getting overwhelmed with curiosity seekers and calls from other solicitors. All questions at this point must be emailed and we will post the most common ones here.  Only dealers have number to reach us at this time, not affiliates.

26. Q: I mistakenly gave someone the wrong url and they reserved a license, can I have this changed?

A: No, sorry, it is too time consuming and risky to make changes to database while in full tracking mode. If you are worried about the commission, work it out with the person whose url you mistakenly used.

27. Q: I want to visit company, how can this be arranged?

A: Sorry, this is not possible at this point in time. Can you imagine if thousands of people were trying to visit our office when there is so much work to be done getting ready for production. Nothing could be completed with constant interruptions of visitors. We are merely taking refundable reservation deposits, not investments of millions, so please be patient, license owners will meet us when conversions start.  We are not at that point in development to open office visits.

28. Q: When did company start?

A: The research and development stage goes back decades, but technical registration of company was in 2006.

29. Q: What if my county or zip code within an area is already reserved?

A: We use a simple system of first cleared reservation payment in, first confirmed, not based on unfunded registrations for obvious reasons.  If your area is reserved, simply choose another one in your region or request a refund.  Make sure you research your area and enter second and third choices to prevent processing delays. 

30 Q: Can I change my area if I move?

A: Yes, but only if the new area is still available.  Once all areas are reserved, it is unlikely this will be possible, so make your decisions wisely and plan ahead, as in what area you would prefer operating in when financial decisions will not be an issue any longer.

31. Q: How long will it be before conversions begin?

A: We had initially planned on achieving our goal of 1,200 by years end, but with mapping data base error we contracted with , currently we are behind schedule. Once this goal is reached, our investors will fund the 1,200 units needed for our dealer conversions. Full production manufacturing will begin only after SEC IPO regulations are completed, so consumer conversions will begin as soon as possible given manufacturing scheduling thereafter.

32. Q: How are first conversions to be determined?

A: As you can imagine, everyone is impatient at this point given the excitement of demonstrating NanoDetonator technology, so to be fair to all, the first to make their reservations will be the first to have conversions completed. Once we have everyone converted, we will allow time for everyone to evaluate there results, as in the smooth quiet operation, more power, performance and zero emissions. We will then coordinate a mass press release in every part of the country to maximize the impact of our technology to create interest in our IPO.  Engineering wants the first units for testing to be represented by one of each on all major manufacturers. 

33. Q: Are you looking for investors at this point?

A: No, and there have been many offers recently. We are following the SEC regulations which our business plan was based on, so we want our license reservation owners to be share holders before considering release of our public offering. Once the 1,200 experience a Hydrogen Fusion powered vehicle, we expect to see many become investors as well.  Private investor option will be available only after first conversions are completed.

34. Q:  When can we see what a NanoDetonator looks like?

A:  As soon as we go to manufacturing, that is the purpose of having reservations, the first who reserve will also be the first to see the NanoDetonators for conversion of their own vehicle and then evaluate performance personally to validate technology.  We are considering putting up a picture, but they look so similar to a conventional spark plug, that is hardly is worth it, but we are going to do a split image diagram from patent submission.

35.  Q:  What happens if all my choice of regions are already reserved?

A:  Needless to say, this has already become a common problem as we grow and more areas are reserved.  All counties will be based on your home counties where possible, and zip codes in high population counties, unless otherwise noted on reservation confirmation page.  Please list as many alternatives as possible along with states, zip codes and counties where each is located.  This will allow us to more quickly verify if areas are already reserved. As we approach final dealership level, the processing time will be longer, and some will be refunded once we have completed all areas.

36:  Q:  How does the system decide who gets first approval?

A:  As with all systems we use time and date stamp on reservation, so even if checks are being mailed, or echeck or credit card issues, we will honor first reservations in system, so mail could cost you your reservation.  If checks are returned for non payments, or credit cards do not go through, sorry, the next person reserving the same region will be moved up the list ahead of you.  We do not hold areas or discuss which areas are still available by phone or email, everyone must reserve through the system and clearly specify counties or by zip codes in higher population areas like LA or NYC.

37:  Q:  How long will it take to know if our first choices are accepted and available?

A:  This is impossible to say as the open areas will be processed more quickly than areas with higher demand.  The closer to end, the more difficult it becomes to assign areas with less to choose from.   PLease be patient, we are backlogged and need to carefully verify and chart all areas.  Currently there are only 100 areas remaining, so you either get a refund or accept what ever the closest area to your request is. 

38.  Q:  My understanding of hydrogen is that there is only a small percentage ratio of hydrogen in the ambient air, so how is this addressed with the NanoDetonator system?  Where does hydrogen come from?

A:  True, the ratio of hydrogen in the air, especially if dry arid conditions exist, this is why we utilize a supplement system which we discussed on one of the calls.  This is similar to the many onboard chemical electrolysis hydrogen generation systems currently on the market for many years. They produce hydrogen on demand, which is what I have been using for years, so each NanoDetonator coversion will have this supplement system included to insure there is no issues with high performance or truck engines which depend on higher torque for power.

I have been marketing these systems for years which have been thoroughly tested and they can produce more than enough hydrogen for what we need to create the controlled hydrogen fusion energy needed.  Remember, fusion only requires two or more hydrogen atoms at a time for energy release, not massive sustained flow of hydrogen as many science oriented people assume is required.  For those who are not familiar with these systems, the web site video clips are there for a reason, to see how hydrogen can be produced easily with small onboard hydrogen electrolysis cartridge system.  The one we use is extremely compact and use fuel injector system to deliver to engine cylinders.  In simple terms, think of it as hydrogen injection system which propagates the fusion process.  We have also been testing a small CO2 like cartridge to supply ample hydrogen atoms for backup purposes, so either way, there will be no issues by time of release.   

39.  Q:  How long are licenses taking to be verified and processed at this time?

A:  Unfortunately, we are currently running months behind normal due to so many with missing or no alternatives areas submitted, and the extra time it takes to get the additional information required to finish processing. From this point on, if the counties, cities and zip codes are not included, along with alternative choices, we will simply refund your fee and delete your reservation.  We can no longer be burdened with all this work chasing people down for missing  information at the expense of others being delayed.

41.  Q:  How many affiliate positions can we have?

A:  Only one, and if you make a mistake and enter more than one, your account will be frozen until you delete your duplicate accounts.  You must also complete all information on registration, especially your contact name, full name, not just first name.  This is used to search data base and many have failed to complete registration, so more delays are being created by those who do not follow instructions. Please take the time to check and make corrections before you wonder why no commission was paid. You must use your full name as contact or you will not be paid.  Many have put only their first names which is an incomplete registration.

42.  Q:  What happens if my payment doesn't reach you for my reservation?

A:  You need to follow up with an email to admin if you do not hear from us in two weeks.  Checks being mailed will take longer to process due to clearing times.  I would suggest emailing admin if you intend on sending checks by mail to avoid delays.  Make sure you put all the information required to insure you will not have your reservation put in pending file and delayed.  We cannot read minds, so the more information you include, the more efficiently we can process it.  We have had several checks come in with no names or even addressed, just signed Joe, as example.

43.  Q:  How long is it going to take to get our dealership licenses?

A:  Again, everyone is impatient, but the mapping of each area is an extremely slow and tedious process, and since we are not fully staffed for obvious reasons, everyone needs to keep in mind, this process is going to take months to complete, so please be patient, we only started a few short months ago.  Again, anyone not happy with delays, simply request a refund, we will be more than happy to accommodate you.

44.  Q:  Can you explain the consumer affiliate program and how it works for our dealerships?

A:  Simple, we are employing a strategy which mirrors many franchise advetising cooperatives whereby each dealer pays into an advertising fund for the benefit of all through national promotions and advertising.  What we are doing is similar, only far more cost effective.  Whereby franchisee owners pay into advertising with no guarantee of results, we will be offering a guaranteed approved customer for your cooperative participation fee of $100.00 for each.  Simply put, you are paying for an approved customer, not just a general promotion, although this too will be incorparated in plan.

As you know, we already have an affiliate program for dealerships, so when the time comes, we will convert our team to a consumer focus to assist our dealers in lining up customers for conversions.  This will benefit all dealers and when a customer is secured through an affiliate, they will earn the same commissions by percentage as we are currently paying.  30%/10% based on the $100.00 co-op fee dealers will pay for each customer.  This will come from your $500.00 conversion fee, so this is not an expense for dealers, it is a profit as in net of $200.00 to $300.00 plus depending on dealers areas and converstion or mechanics costs. 

The way it will work is simple.  Dealers will have option to participate in co-op or not.  Customers will be sent to dealers via our online dealer mapping system which have chosen to be part of our company sponsored advertising co-op at no up front costs to dealers.  When an approved customer comese through our system, the $100.00 fee is not paid up front.  It will come out of conversion costs each customer pays to dealer.   This will be automated with accounting for each dealer, so dealer will submit this fee to HFECo. upon conversion, or if financed option or credit card is used by consumer from corporate site, then it will be deducted before dealers are paid balance which they will in turn use to pay their mechanic.  As this system is ramped up, the cash flow will always be positive from very first conversion, so again, this is not a cost, it is a direct profit to dealers in the form of an approved and paying customer.  This is like gold compared to traditional hit or miss advertising co-ops, and at the same time, it continues to reward or affiliates.

45.  Q:  When is manufacturing going to start?

A:  The business plans have not changed, although we do not yet know when all dealership mapping will be completed and licenses sent.  Although we may have reached our Phase I goals of 1,200 reservations, these are not yet dealerships, and as everyone knows, manufacturing does not start until all dealerships are mapped and assigned, and dealer agreements are returned signed, sealed and delivered, so for those who keep calling and emailing asking this question over and over, nothing has changed, this was always based on dealerships being issued, not just reservations, so technically, Phase I is not yet completed until all mapping and licenses are assigned.

46.  Q:  Where are we with regards to dealership reservations?

A:  At the moment, we have about 1000 reservations assigned.  We are still trying to accommodate about 200 in pending as areas are opening up with re-mapping and they are being assigned to requested areas slowly but surely, so we are making progress.  Backlog is due to be completed by end of next month.  As we near the end, it gets slower as so few areas of first or tenth choice are open, so you can imagine our dilemma in accommodating the last reservations to close out Phase I. Patience is the word, remember that and you will make your life less stressful.

47.  Q:  What about entering in the X-Prize competition?

A:  Yes, we have been bombarded with this question, and we are researching the conditions so as not to jeopardize our business plan, so we are in process of studying event.  For those not familiar with it, it will take $10.000.00 entry fee, plus a very difficult and time consuming qualification process, so if you have the time to read through it all as I have, you will know what I am talking about. 

48.  Q:  What about the first test units, who will recieve these?

A:  Unfortunately, we cannot announce who will get first beta test units the engineers are asking for. This will depend on many factors, first date of reservations, geographic areas of each, type of vehicles, and the willingness to travel to our conversion center with vehicles so engineering can map vehicles ECU, ECM onboard computer controllers on each vehicle which is accessed through diagnostic port.  Please do not call and request you be considered for first conversions, at this point, everyone cannot be first.  You will be contacted at the appropriate time.
